Rebellis Polo

Rebellis Farm is currently home to 22 equine family members: 20 polo pony mares of assorted breeds (some of whom are retired or semi-retired), a retired rescue pony mare who acts as farm mascot, and one Arabian (our lone gelding) who thinks his job is to look after all the ladies.

Our horses primarily live out 24/7 with access to grass, hay as needed, fresh water, and man-made or natural shelter. Each gets a daily meal with supplements for general health and athletic fitness.

TrailRide

While polo is our primary passion, nothing beats long, relaxing rides on our own farm and in the surrounding countryside, much of which has been put into conservation easements with the Virginia Outdoors Foundation (and others) to protect the land for generations to come. We greatly enjoy going out on horseback to discover new areas and have several hundred acres to explore of varied terrain, from hills and open fields to wooded pathways and small water crossings.

Our property also lies within Warrenton Hunt Territory. From September through March, you may see the Hunt come through: hounds, horses, and all—sometimes with us included. We currently have two coops on the property (purpose-built jumps inserted into the fence line to ease access between land areas), helping to create a lively environment.
